Regroup Events ApS ends the cooperation with Turtle Entertainment, the partnership within the Scandinavian region ceased with immediate effect.

It all began when it was announced that the ESL Pro Series Scandinavia finals had been postponed, due to “unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances”. The speculations began, if the league would die out, would there be any finals and so on.

Today Regroup Events ApS, the ESL license holders, announce that the cooperation with Turtle Entertainment/ESL ends with immediate effect.

Tournament & Event Director of Regroup ApS, Henrik Andersen states:

"We have truly enjoyed working with the great concept that Turtle Entertainment offers, the professional organization behind it and definitely all of the great players around Scandinavia that participated in the tournaments. I would like to thank Turtle Entertainment for the corporation and I wish the best of luck for the future of ESL Scandinavia."

CEO of Turtle Entertainment, Jens Hilgers states:

"It was a pleasure working with Regroup Events Aps and their team. With their knowledge and experience in the eSports scene, Regroup has been building the framework for a successful ESL Pro Series in Scandinavia."

The ESL Pro Series Scandinavia will however be finished off by Turtle Entertainment, meaning we will see the finals for the first season after all. Whether there will be a second season or not, is yet to be announced.
